I also went to my cousin's bridal shower at a really cute tea room in downtown San Antonio called "Madhatters". The tea room is in the King William district of San Antonio which has GORGEOUS homes. The homes date back to the 1800s and have amazing porches. I'm a little obsessed with wrap around porches, and all porches in general. I looooved this one:
They had the cutest little decor as well, look at these cute little tea cups with flowers floating on top. Precious and simple!
We played a fun (but difficult) game where we were blindfolded and had to dig through rice to find little silver rings. I thought it would be easy and it was SO hard, I couldn't pick up one. :( Ha!
After the shower, I had to race over to a sports bar and grill to meet up with my husband and some friends. We went there because it was the only place showing the a&m and UT games. If you follow my blog you know I am a giant Longhorn fan and my husband is an aggie. We had our son there, he had a UT onesie on and an a&m bib. (I don't even want to talk about the UT game, I seriously felt like crying.) Here's a little family pic!
Halfway during the game though, I started feeling icky. I went home early and the baby had a runny nose and I had a fever. I spent all day Sunday on the couch watching a Harry Potter marathon. Feeling a lot better today, no fever! Yay!
Ok enough blabbing about my weekend...the Facebook Fan give-a-way has ended!! Here are my four lucky winners:
